Jackpot!!
Today, my mother instant messaged me about my current plythe with flooring. I told her about how the carpet in the living room was ok but that it was difficult to vacuum and with Vicky’s allergies that we needed to be able to find a cleaner alternative. So she says that since the house was built in 1947 that there’s a fair chance that there are real hard wood floors under the carpet and that we just needed to pull up the carpet and take a look. So I came home for lunch briefly and we went to WalMart to pick up some stuff we needed for the weekend and I forgot to check under the carpet. so I got back to work and I’ve been thinking about it all day. So, finally I get off work at 3:30pm. I’m on vacation until next Wednesday. I get home, and that was when it happened.
Jackpot! Not only do we have hard wood floors in the front of the house, but apparently they have been finished and everything! So now my vacation begins on a great note! This counters the Vicky I faced when I originally got home from work.
Vicky was sobbing when I came walking down Meloy avenue today. I, like most boyfriends, was very freaked out and I wanted to make sure that she was ok. She said that while she was at The Arts Center today she was informed by Ted that dogs were no longer allowed in The Arts Center main building or in The Clay Place where she teaches classes to kids. She seems to be feeling a bit better now and I hope that we can resolve this with The Arts Center in the near future.
