Kitchen getting there
Here’s what we were looking at before. 
White matte finish paint slopped very thick in every nook and crany of the kitchen. Notice the partially green wall on the far side. Yeah, that was the present we got after we steamed and scraped through two layers of the ugliest wallpaper I’ve ever laid eyes upon. This green paint was probably lead-based paint also, so we can add that to the list of things the house has done to try and kill me. But there is always a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, right?
Here’s a picture of the new kitchen. 
We haven’t completed the project yet but everyone keeps asking me about it so here it is. Next step is to get some new flooring down in here A.S.A.P. Dad is suppossed to help us out with the financial end of that but we haven’t decided what kind of flooring we want in the kitchen yet. There’s quite a bend in the kitchen where our crawlspace ends and our concrete slab begins so I’m not leaning towards putting fake wood panels in anymore. I’m thinking that it may be best if we go at it with some different linoleum than what’s down there already. But hey, who knows, right?
