Wedding Details
Just a heads up,
We’ve found a place to have the wedding and someone to marry us. We need to have the wedding no later than the 13th of october. We’re looking at a Saturday I think so we’re thinking about maybe September 25th or October 2nd. We’re hoping the rain season holds off long enough for us to get things done. We’ll send out invitations via email so be looking for it sometime in the next week or so. If anyone recieving this email has an issue with one of these two saturdays it’d be best to let me know in the next couple of days by replying to this email. As far as any other details go:
The psuedo-wedding (as I’ve been lovingly calling it) will take place at Paul and Phyllis Zegers house. Generally speaking, we will be having a ‘pot luck’ dinner where we’ll ask everyone to bring a dish of food and we’ll all share. The ceremony will be presided over by Phyllis Zegers, a newly ordained member of the spiritual humanist clergy (http://www.spiritualhumanism.org/).
At this point I think we’ll register somewhere for those of you who are interested, we just don’t know where yet. Vicky looked into what kinds of items a newly married couple may need and it ends up that since we’ve been living together for nearly four years now we don’t really need anything as far as normal household items.
