Married
So now it’s official. Well, I’ve been away for a few days but on the 27th it became official. The 27th also officially marks the first time I lost my wedding ring. It’s here somewhere, I know it.
We should be in the middle of our Oregon state honeymoon as I’m writing this, but we are not. We are instead back here again with the need for new brake pads, calipers and rotor turning since my brakes decided that this would be the best time to get all that done. Oh well. I swift kick back into reality is what I needed this week anyway.
I’ve been living in a fantasy world the last few days thanks to everyones generosity. We recieved enough gift cards from Lowe’s to go out and purchase a new lawn mower. so I did just that on Monday. No more boondoggling around with alternate solutions. I fired up the new Briggs n Stratten engine and mowed my lawn and my neighbors front lawn in a matter of minutes. I also recieved a very generous card from my mother and step-father exclaming joy over our new union. They are going to pay for all the materials I need to allow me to build a fence around my land. They have also decided to grant me my wishes and make me the proud owner of a brand new Apple iPod. Life doesn’t get much better than gifts like this.;) We recieved tons of other cool and useful things from our wedding and I will detail the list as soon as I have a bit more time. Thanks to everyone involved in last weekends events.
